NUST will soon establish a new Centre of Excellence in Information Technology, courtesy of the Indian Government. The President of India, H.E. Shri Pranab Mukherjee, pledged his country’s support for Namibia’s skills development when he made the announcement during his address to the Namibian academic community at NUST as part of a three-day state visit to Namibia last week.

As from next month, NUST will offer short courses in Big Data Technologies; Advanced Web Technologies; and Ethical Hacking and Information Security. This comes as a result of the newly established Centre of Excellence in Information Technology (CEIT).
